General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Cooking and Pastry Workshops L'Escapade Nature et Gourmande, SASU, whose registered office is located at 1453 chemin des Moulins, 32600 Pujaudran, registered under SIRET number 882 801 509 00010, hereinafter referred to as "the establishment" – Version of February 6, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern all registrations and participation in the cooking and pastry workshops offered by L'Escapade Nature et Gourmande. Registration implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 1 – Purpose and scope

The workshops offered are designed to transmit culinary and pastry techniques in a recreational setting. They do not constitute professional training leading to a diploma or a certified course.

Article 2 – Registration and validation

Registration for a workshop becomes firm and final after:
• validation of registration by the institution,
• express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions,
• the complete rules of the workshop.

The client is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided during registration (workshop chosen, date, number of participants, participants' identities). No claims will be accepted in the event of an error by the client.

Article 3 – Prices and payment terms 

Prices are quoted in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293B of the French General Tax Code. Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Workshops booked through specific offers (partnerships, works councils, gift cards, promotions) may be subject to special conditions, which will be specified at the time of booking.

The customer has the option of purchasing cancellation insurance when booking, either directly on the establishment's website or through an insurer of their choice. The establishment cannot be held responsible for the insurance purchased or its implementation.

Article 4 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period are not subject to any right of withdrawal.

Article 5 – Cancellation and non-appearance 

Any cancellation by the client occurring less than eight (8) days before the date of the workshop, for whatever reason, will not give rise to any refund.
In case of no attendance at the workshop, the amount paid remains fully acquired by the establishment.

The customer remains free to purchase cancellation insurance at the time of purchase or from the insurer of their choice.

The client has the option to transfer their participation to another person, provided that they inform the establishment in writing (email or contact form) no later than 24 hours before the start of the workshop, specifying the identity of the replacement participant.

Article 6 – Modification or cancellation by the organizer

The establishment reserves the right to modify the content of a workshop (recipes, procedure, speaker) without altering its spirit or quality.

The establishment also reserves the right to cancel a workshop, particularly in the event of insufficient participants, exceptional unavailability, or force majeure. In this case, the client may choose between rescheduling to another date or receiving a full refund. In the event of payment made by holiday vouchers, a deduction of 3 % corresponding to the processing fees will be applied.

Article 7 – Private workshops, team building and services upon request

Private workshops, corporate events, team building, pre-formed groups and all tailor-made services are subject to a personalized quote.

The reservation becomes firm and final upon receipt:
• the dated and signed quote bearing the words "approved",
• payment of an advance of 50 % of the total amount of the service.

The balance is due no later than the day of service, unless otherwise specified in the quote.

Cancellation policy – private and quoted services

Any cancellation by the customer:
• Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the scheduled date will result in a refund of the deposit.,
• If cancellation occurs less than thirty (30) days before the service is provided, the establishment will retain the deposit as compensation.,
• less than eight (8) days before the service will result in the full service being charged.

Article 8 – Allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions

It is the client's sole responsibility to report any allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements before registering. Any requests for adjustments must be made in advance to assess their feasibility. No adjustments are guaranteed.

In the absence of prior notification, the establishment cannot be held responsible. No refund will be given if the workshop content is unsuitable after registration has been confirmed.

Article 9 – Minimum age and minors

Each workshop description specifies the minimum age requirement and the conditions for minors' participation (accompanied or unaccompanied). Clients are required to strictly adhere to these guidelines. Minors remain under the sole responsibility of the accompanying adult when required.

Article 10 – On-site tasting and takeaway products

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description:
• The cooking workshops include an on-site tasting.,
• The pastry workshops result in the creations being taken home.

The establishment cannot be held responsible for how participants transport the culinary creations or for their storage after the workshop, particularly with regard to keeping them cold or any alteration related to transport.

Article 11 – Organization of workshops and rules of participation

Participants agree to comply with the hygiene, safety, and operating instructions provided by the instructor. Any inappropriate or dangerous behavior may result in the participant's immediate exclusion without refund.

Article 12 – Liability

Participants take part in the workshops under their own full responsibility and agree to strictly comply with the hygiene and safety instructions communicated by the establishment.
The establishment cannot be held responsible for bodily injury or property damage resulting from failure to comply with instructions, inappropriate behavior or improper use of the equipment provided, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the establishment.
The establishment also declines all responsibility concerning the transport, storage and preservation of the creations by the participants after the workshop, particularly in the event of a break in the cold chain or alteration of the products.

Article 13 – Right to one's image

A permission slip for filming and using images is systematically offered at the beginning of each workshop. Participants are free to accept or refuse this permission. If refused, no images of the person concerned will be used.

Article 14 – Force majeure

Force majeure is defined as any unforeseeable, irresistible event beyond the control of the establishment, including in particular pandemics, epidemics, administrative restrictions or decisions by authorities preventing the workshop from taking place.

In this case, the establishment will offer a postponement or proceed with a full refund of the sums paid.

Article 15 – Gift Cards

Workshops paid for with a gift card are subject to the same conditions as other registrations. The validity period of gift cards is specified at the time of purchase. They are transferable but non-refundable.

Article 16 – Sponsorship

The referral program is reserved for customers who have already stayed at L'Escapade Nature et Gourmande or who have participated in a workshop.

The referral program is exclusively applicable to new customers who have never made a reservation or participated in a workshop before.

A person can only be sponsored once.

Each referral is valid for a single booking, made directly with the establishment, excluding booking platforms, special offers, CSE partnerships and promotions.

Detailed terms and conditions of the sponsorship offer are available upon request from the institution.

Article 17 – Complaints

Any complaint must be made in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of the workshop.

Article 18 – Personal Data

The personal data collected is used exclusively for the purpose of managing registrations and customer relations.

In accordance with current regulations, the customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data upon simple request to the establishment.

Article 19 – Amendment to the General Terms and Conditions

The establishment reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable Terms and Conditions are those in effect on the date of registration.

Article 20 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Auch Judicial Court.

Article 21 – Consumer Mediation

In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the customer may have recourse, free of charge, to a consumer mediator after a prior written approach to the establishment.
